Omvänd dotter, läsning

En av mina döttrar, Ninni har haft det svårt med att läsa böcker. Hon hittar inget som passar, alltid är det fel på böckerna och dom är tråkiga. Men nu har vi hittat en serie som passar henne: Hemsökt av Meg Cabot. Handlar om en tjej som är ett medium och som hjälper spöken att gå vidare efter att ha löst mysterium.
Ninni är nu som resten av familjen:

• vill inte bli störd när hon läser,
• blir hon störd så blir hon irriterad
• ligger och läser istället för att titta på tv.

Själv läser jag "Brev hem" av Sylvia Plath. Fascinerande. Är en bok jag längtar till, får nu ta och läsa Glaskupan.

Idag ska jag scrappa. Vi ska scrappa i tre timmar på mitt jobb och även om jag har organiserat det hela, så ska jag inte leda det, dvs jag kan scrappa själv. Det ska bli kul.

My daughter Ninni has had troubles finding books to read. She finds them boring and unrealistic, but now we have found the book for her: Meg Cabots The mediator series, which she loves.

Now she is like the rest of the family when it comes to reading:

• doesn't want to be disturbed if she is reading
• if she gets disturbed, she gets cranky
• prefers the book and not the tv.

Myself I am reading Letters home by Sylvia Plath. It is a book I long for when not reading. I will have to read her most famous book too Glaskupan.

Today is all about scrapbooking. We are having a three-hour event at my work and even if I have organized it I am not the teacher, so I will be able to scrap too.
